After a challenging year, we have so much to be thankful for—and so much to celebrate! Our 2021 Virtual Gala honored our shared achievements and raised money for older adults in our community. This year’s event featured an appearance by celebrated author and musician Corky Siegel.
About Corky Siegel
A celebrated musician, band leader and author, Corky Siegel is one of the world’s greatest blues harmonica players. While playing with blues legends Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf and Buddy Guy in Chicago blues clubs, he co-founded the Siegel-Schwall Band. The band went on to become a national headliner with opening acts that included Janis Joplin, Santana, Steve Miller and Joni Mitchell. After decades of recording albums and performing in symphony orchestras across the globe, Corky Siegel has built his legacy on a signature fusion of blues and classical music.
